Hurricane Irene made landfall in North Carolina on August 27 at a Category 1 hurricane. The Hurricane caused widespread power outages in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast with an estimated 4 million homes and businesses experiencing loss of power.
A study commissioned in 2010 by Huggies®, revealed that one in three American mothers struggle to provide diapers for their babies. These mothers have had to cut back on basics such as food and utilities in order to provide enough diapers.
