Radhika Shroff

Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Accion Global Investments - Gateway

Radhika is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer of Accion’s Gateway Fund.  Her responsibilities include leading investment activities in Asia, supporting investment and portfolio management activities globally, as well driving projects which span Accion’s investment groups.

Bringing 20 years of in-depth experience in global banks, Radhika has worked in investment banking, consumer financial services and microfinance, and investing in the US, Asia and Latin America.  Prior to Accion, Radhika spent five years at Citi in New York City as a Vice President of Strategic Planning and Analysis where she worked closely with Citi's Global Consumer CFO to lend analytical support and drive strategic initiatives across Citi's consumer finance, credit card, mortgage and retail banking businesses. Prior to Citi, Radhika worked for Wells Fargo, managing the launch and growth of one of its first internet investment products and in UBS's investment banking group, working on Latin American and North American M&A and equity raising transactions. Radhika has also spent a year in Thailand as a Luce Scholar, working with the Thai Ministry of Finance on small business development initiatives. In 2010, Radhika led an investor group to acquire a majority stake in Caja Rural Los Andes, a rural bank in Peru.  Radhika sits on the boards of Early Dawn Microfinance, an microfinance institution based in Yangon, Myanmar and Yuva Pragati, a non-profit focused on youth development in rural India.

Radhika is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Gujarati. She received a BA in Psychology and a BS in Economics from The University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from The Wharton School and an MA in International Studies from The Joseph H. Lauder Institute.  She lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
