THE RULES

Student Teams

BUILD A TEAM!

  • Teams may comprise 3 to 5 students, and may include any combination of part-time, full-time, or executive MBA students. Each participating school may have as many teams as they would like enter the competition.
  • Each team member must be a current student at the educational institution they are representing.

Round One

  • Submit your case solution in document form. Parameters for the solution submission will be shared in late summer.
  • The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation will conduct the first round of judging by reviewing the submissions from each team. The round one judges will be carefully selected business leaders, academics, and advisors to the Foundation. Up to four teams will be selected to advance to the final round of competition.
  • During round one, submissions will be stripped of school names and made entirely anonymous to ensure fairness.

Final Round

  • Up to four teams will be selected to present their cases to a panel of A-list judges and an audience of business leaders, innovators, and thought leaders.
  • The judges’ panel for the final round of competition will include C-suite executives, U.S. Chamber of Commerce leadership, and academics.
  • The Final Round will be held at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s historic headquarters building, situated directly across from the White House.
  • Parameters for the Final Round presentations will be shared in late summer.
  • The competition will be followed by a networking reception.

*The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation will cover travel and accommodations for the members of each team that advances to the final round of competition in Washington, D.C.
